
Dine Out Long Beach, Restaurant & Cocktail Week, presented by the Grunion Gazette and powered by Stella Artois, happening citywide from February 18th through the 28th. Each year, local restaurants compete to impress with exclusive menu items, inventive cocktails, wine pairings, and craft beer, all at great prices. This year’s event is even more special as they are doing a “Pass the Plate” night on February 24th (and February 25th for restaurants closed on Monday) to help raise money for restaurant owners and workers displaced by the wildfire.

At the top of your list of restaurants to visit is The 908. Located at the Long Beach Exchange, the 908 is a setting made for every occasion and time of the day as they never disappoint whether it is brunch, dinner or drinks. Your meal provides you with an appetizer, highlight by their creamy New England clam chowder, entrees that allow you to choose from salmon, picanha or their brined buttermilk fried chicken. LBX has become has a hot spot when it comes to dining and Bar Becky and Chef Johnathan Benvenuti have quicky garnered consistent praise with their unique flavors in the short year since they have opened their doors. 1. RESTAURANTS WILL DONATE 10% FROM SALES TO HELP FELLOW RESTAURANT OWNERS AND WORKERS DISPLACED BY THE WILDFIRES
Restaurants are the first to donate to school auctions, non-profit organizations and local sports leagues. But on February 24, more than half of the restaurants participating Dine Out Long Beach restaurants will donate to their own through Restaurants Care, the non-profit organization of the California Restaurant Association. Restaurant owners will “Pass the Plate” by donating a minimum of 10% of sales to Restaurants Care Fire Fund specifically earmarked for restaurant owners and workers displaced by the recent wildfires. 2. THE ART OF COCKTAILING
Whether you like your cocktails shaken or stirred, many restaurants get in the “spirit” of things during Dine Out Long Beach, Restaurant & Cocktail Week by offering at least one signature cocktail during Dine Out Long Beach. In addition, many restaurants also offer special wines and craft beers, too, including Stella Artois on draft and in bottles. Not one to imbibe? Mocktails are always an option, too. Plus, there is something for every preference and dietary need, including vegan and gluten-free options. And remember, restaurants will also have their regular menus available as well.
